Who we are

VC Solution is operated by Fife Digital (“we”), based in Austin, Texas. Questions about this notice or your data: digital@julianfife.com.

What this product is, and what data is involved

This is a business tool for investment firms, built for evaluation by invited business users. The public demo contains no real personal data: Meridian Capital is fictional, its contacts are invented, and its financial figures come from public SEC filings about public companies.

If you sign in to a workspace, we process:

  • Your Google account basics (name, email address, profile photo), used to identify you and operate your workspace.
  • Content you create or upload in your workspace: deals, contacts, notes, criteria, schemas, and documents.
  • Routine server logs (IP address, timestamps, requested pages).

We use exactly one cookie: a session cookie that keeps you signed in. There is no advertising, analytics, or cross-site tracking.

How workspace content is processed

When you run a document review or extraction, the text of that document is sent to Anthropic (our AI provider) solely to produce the review or extraction you requested. When you run diligence on a ticker, we retrieve public data from SEC EDGAR and Financial Modeling Prep; nothing about you is sent to either.

Service providers

Your data is stored and processed by these providers on our behalf:

  • Google Firebase (authentication and database, USA)
  • Railway (application hosting, USA)
  • Anthropic (AI processing of document text you submit, USA)

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for advertising.

Retention and deletion

Workspace content is kept while your workspace is active. Email digital@julianfife.com to have your workspace and its contents deleted; we will confirm when done.

US state privacy laws

We operate from the United States and build for business (B2B) use in Texas, Colorado, and elsewhere. Based on our current scale and the business-contact nature of the data involved, we do not currently meet the applicability thresholds of the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act or the Colorado Privacy Act. If that changes, we will update this notice and honor the rights those laws provide.

Changes

We will update this page when our practices change, with the date above reflecting the latest revision.
